I spilt an entire carton of milk on the kitchen floor. -.-; my mom yelled at me.
Now I'm working on my English assignment. A stupid paper on Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell-Tale Heart" I don't understand that story in the least. It's confusing, and it hurts my head just to try and explain it in paragraph form....x.x This sucks Literally.
Hopefully I'll post more later, cuz I have some certain issues to talk about. =/

Tell-tale Heart is about a man, most likely he has to be mentally unstable in some form, who is boarding with an old man. The old man is perfectly normal except for one of his eyes. For some reason the guy boarding with the old man thinks that eye is always looking at him, watching him, and the thought freaks him out so much that he kills the old man and then..er...c.c *thinks*...it's been nearly 5-6 years since I last did this....er, I believe he cuts up the body parts and buries them or something, except for the heart which he buries under the floorboards. I could be wrong. The body could be buried under the floorboards...I can't quite remember....Anyways..
All is well and good until he keeps hearing the beating of the heart coming from underneath the floorboards. And this is Poe, remember, so you never truly know if it's the guilt of the man creating the beating of the heart or if it really is a supernatural occurence. Poe likes to keep you guessing at that.
And apparently he's the only one who hears it. And it drives him even more insane than he is until he finally confesses to the deed.
That's the basic premise to that story. There's much more behind it. It's literature, c'mon. There's secret meanings hiding within every line of text, especially with Poe. But once you break it down, it's not so hard. =)
